“In a terrific bit of casting, Showtime has hired John Lithgow to play a serial killer in the fourth season of “Dexter.”

From the release:

Lithgow will play Walter Simmons, an unassuming, mild-mannered suburbanite who has been living a dual life as one of America’s most prolific and deadliest serial killers. Dubbed the “Trinity Killer” because of his proclivity to kill in three’s, he relocates to Miami after being tracked by F.B.I. Special Agent Frank Lundy (Keith Carradine). Brought on to assist in the investigation of Miami’s latest serial killer, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. I haven’t even had a chance to watch the third season of ‘Dexter’ yet and I’m already excited for the fourth with this casting news. Lithgow should prove to be a superb addition to the ‘Dexter’ cast.

I hate exhausting all my tv in concentrated periods of time. I’m almost done HIMYM season 4, there are no new Desperate Housewives for a while, and it seems like ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IS ON REAL TELEVISION.

It seems all I really want lately is to grab a pillow, watch NPH, eat, and maybe read.

(AND TO TOP IT OFF, the last episode of Futurama is the only thing I’ve found on TV that’s remotely okay. I HATE THIS EPISODE.)

The good thing about showing an Arth History exam at 9 in the morning is that in between the 2 seconds it takes me to yell out the 6- and 2-minute mark, I can watch Do You Take Dexter Morgan? which makes up for it not being uploaded at 11:30 last night.

Oh, and I’m getting paid for this. I love my job sometimes.
