#34—Sea Wolf
I’ve been listening to “Wicked Blood” pretty much since Devon posted it. And after listening to it for the thousandth times, I realized that I’ve only ever listened to Sea Wolf through Devon, but I’ve never heard a song I’ve disliked. So I sought out more and… I really like this band. Girl, I owe you one.
I requested this on Eric and Adam’s radio show last week. They made it clear that they listened to something else while they played this, and Eric said something about the first five seconds they heard being emo. Well, we knew Eric was a snob. It’s his loss.

Eric’s a douche.

Almost as good as NPH talking about how beautiful Jon Hamm is? Jon Hamm leaning into his wife and blushing.

This makes up for the fact that, to get back in the groove, you are just posting (something slightly altered versions of) things I’ve posted in your absence.

Whoa. Didn’t catch this the first time around. Giving me some appreciation of this song.

Everything I have heard from this I love.
But really, to me, you will never be able to fuck up, Sondre.

I’ve been waiting for this album since the Paradise Rock Club in November.

I really think I want to go but goddamn do I hate the Electric Factory.

synecdoche:
i wish i could give this album to people and have them listen to it without any prior knowledge of bright eyes because it sucks that bright eyes gets such a bad rep for being “sooooo totally emo” or whatever the fuck because this is such a great album. like, regardless of the artist or the genre or anything, it’s such a legitimately great album and it’s nearly perfect, especially during months like this, and i feel like there are a lot of people who would really like it if they didn’t have an unnecessary hatred of conor oberst because of stupid reasons like girls outside of his shows or idiots on livejournal. can you tell i’m drunk? hah.
